What a GREAT Christmas we had! Ben and Eli woke us up at 6:30am to open presents--earlier than the rest of us were ready (note Jakob and Jalie's sour expressions in the "group photo". Shortly, however, Josh lit a fire and everyone came out to open their presents. Santa brought everyone LOTS of good stuff, including (but certainly not limited to):
Ben-Nintendo DS Lite with an Indiana Jones Lego game
Eli-Junie B. Jones books and a cash register
Jakob-Electric racing car track and a fishing game
Jalie-a camera and a vacuum
When we were done trying everything out, we went over to my parent's to enjoy stockings, presents and the best darn breakfast this side of Texas (thanks Dad!). We brought our load home and let the little ones (and mom!) nap.
In the late afternoon, we mosied on over to the Chesniks to enjoy Christmas with them. We exchanged gifts and enjoyed yummy "snacks" for dinner. The kids played outside and watched a movie and had a great time with their cousins.
We are so blessed! We your Christmas was terrific too!
