Benjamin and his Dad sure had fun building a pinewood derby car this year. Benjamin designed, sanded, helped paint, and applied dry graphite. With all of the rain we have been getting, the first paint job (white with blue stripes) didn't work out, but Josh valiently painted it black and added yellow duct tape stripes the night before. It turned out to be a beautiful car that won for "Best Wings." Benjamin was completely thrilled to win his last race and did pretty well overall. We celebrated that night with a pizza party and root beer floats. Way to go boys!

Tom was going to go, but then got tied up helping the High Preists move Judy Roach longer than they thought. Glad to hear it was a success :)
Great job Ben!! I wish I was still there to watch! Sounds like it was a fun time for all.
