The kids woke up bright and early Easter morning to find their baskets. It was fun because Benjamin found EVERYONE'S but took a long time finding his own (Josh booby-trapped his behind our DVDs:). The kids each got sunglasses, a homemade stuffed animal, and another small toy. We enjoyed a DELICIOUS breakfast with the Edingtons as we watched Conference (which was GREAT!). We stayed for lunch and then I took the little ones home for a nap. Later that evening, we went over to the Chesniks. Linda and Bob, my in-law parents, are so, so great. They set up both an outside and an inside egg hunt. We also enjoyed a FABULOUS traditional Easter dinner including JELLO EGGS!!! Then they let the kids open Easter gifts from them. Each of the kids got clothes, Josh and I got money for whatever we want (yeah!), and the family got the movie The Princess and the Frog. We gave them a homemade Easter decoration and a Topsy-Turvey tomato plant (which they had mentioned wanting to try). SO FUN!!! Thanks to our wonderful, amazing, generous parents for a WONDERFUL Easter weekend.

what fun! way to go on the homemade gifts - wow! ... and i'm going to want to know how that topsy turvy planter works - i've been curious about that for a while.

Our Easter was quite different this year being out of town and all. Then to add to it, I forgot my camera! Dang!
