Busy, Busy!

Life the past couple of weeks has been a whirlwind! Here are a few highlights:

-We came home from our Arizona trip to find that we had an infestation of bees in the attic of our guest house. At first, it appeared that we could take care of them. Josh killed lots of them with spray insecticide each night. We realized we were in over our heads after "The Day of the Bees" when our backyard was, quite literally, swarming with bees. To make a long story short, after a week and $180 later, we are bee free and feeling fine.

-We bought a sectional off of Craigslist, and then a bunk bed for the girls. Great deals on stuff we really needed!

-My nephew, Troy, was baptized by his father. He sang and made everyone cry. It was really a special event.

-I threw a baby shower for my friend Barb Child, who will have her second boy soon. We had a chocolate fountain and lots of friends came to celebrate with her.

-Josh has been co-coaching church ragball for the kids. They are all having lots of fun.

-We started yet another project. We are attacking the great landscaping project called the Great Beyond (otherwise known as the backyard). Josh picked up two loads of railroad ties from a small town just inside California to creat planter beds. Thanks to Scott who helped with BOTH loads of railroad ties and the sectional! Josh, the crazy project man that he is, decided to accomplish ALOT of the backyard whilst I was in NY visiting my sister. Way to go Babycakes! :)

I seriously was thinking the same thing the other day... You are such a busy gal...and I think you taught a RS lesson on top of all you listed!

Thank you so much for a wonderful shower. You are so very thoughtful and kind. Can you forward the pics you took when you have a sec? And thanks too for the chocolate goodies you sent home with me, Greg loved 'em.
