Eli was able to celebrate her eighth birthday with "the greatest day ever!!!". In the morning, she used her decorating skills to prepare the house for a luau that night. Then her "Grandpa" and "Grandma" Mitchell (good friends of mine since I was 7 years old) took our family out to an early lunch to Lucille's BBQ. Eli then got to go with Grandpa Mitchell and a friend to see "Cats and Dogs: Revenge of Kitty Galore". EXCITING STUFF! LOL! Eli said that it was hysterical and that she ate almost all of the popcorn they got because her friend was full and Grandpa Mitchell fell asleep (which she also found hysterical:). Grandpa Mitchell also then took the girls to Baskin Robbins.
Eli came home on cloud nine and only had about an hour before her friends were coming over for the luau (including her BFF Brinley!)! The kids enjoyed their Hawaiian haystacks and then played a water balloon toss game. Then birthday cupcakes and the main feature of the night...swimming! It was a great action-packed birthday for a wonderful, beautiful girl. I am so grateful to have you as my daughter Eliana!
