My Dad has been planning a family vacation to Disneyland for over a year. Thanks to my parents generosity, we were all able to stay at the Grand Californian Hotel and spend time together at the "Happiest Place on Earth"! They managed to spoil us rotten with gifts, ice cream, a family BBQ dinner and a cocoa party as well! And we all had tickets to the Halloween Event at Disneyland.
So much fun was going on the whole time, but the cocoa party in my parents hotel room was probably my favorite. We were all staying on level 4 of this beautiful hotel, and my parents invited everyone (there were 27 of us there that night!) over for a late-night cocoa party. They had room service deliver amazing cocoa, whipped cream, and fries. My brothers had us laughing so hard and my mother kept the party going with a bubble gun. The kids mostly hung out in the bathtub.
Our family paid for an extra two nights at the hotel to extend the fun. Since one day was Sunday (Halloween), we went with my brother Tom's family to the beach for a picnic and let the kids play for hours. Tom fed the
pigeons vinegar chips. I buried kids in the sand. It was a nice break from the intense-
ness of Disneyland. That night, the kids got to trick or treat and play games in the hotel lobby.
It was AMAZING to be with my parents, all of my siblings, and their families for this very special trip. THANK YOU, THANK YOU MOM AND DAD!!! And thank you to my family for being so super-fun! It was truly
unforgettable!
